About Technology Shops Ltd

The origins of the company go back to the year 2000 when two friends, Doug MacAuslan and Steve Lloyd started a business called tech2go.

After a few years trading the business was on a firm footing and it was decided to take the company to the next level and become a limited company. By a fortunate coincidence at the same time the domain name Technologyshops.com was aquired and it was decided to change the trading name to Technology Shops Ltd as this more closely reflected the type of customers we were working for.

Some months after the name chage Doug was "made an offer he couldnt refuse" so he went travelling the world for the defence industry and Steve continued to grow the business.

Technology Shops has grown over the years, but has always stayed true to it's origional philisophy - To provide IT support to local companies who are looking for a fast solution to IT issues, coupled with an understanding of their Business needs.
